Adding new device to icloud account

I am new to iphone, honestly have the worst luck with tem. This one, iphone 13 pro max, being my 5th one to lock up in less than a month. At least this time I did take a picture of the icloud account as I set it up on the new iphone. But now I've run into the problem of the icloud account I set up only on my new iPhone 13, doesn't show my iphone 13. Instead it's only showing an iPhone 6s! And yes I've forgotten my passcode to unlock my iPhone 13, I haven't disabled it yet just can't unlock it after restarting it. I've tried the finder app and it refused to finish downloading and installing. I'm tired of all these expensive paper weights guys, what can I do?
