Two External Displays using Monoprice 15-in-1 Dock not working on Macbook Pro M2 Max

Trying to connect two external Displays on my MacBook Pro M2 Max using Monoprice 15-in-1 dock (which supports 3 external displays) to the Thunderbolt-4 port (USB-C) of my MacBook and instead of able to use both external displays as extended, it's just mirroring both external displays. Need help to be able to resolve this. Tried downloading DiplayLink Manager App, but no luck

For the Mac to support up to TWO displays on one Port, the Port, the cable, and the first device (Dock or Display) must ALL be genuine ThunderBolt.

USB-C has only half the data pathways of ThunderBolt. Macs do not support two displays on a USB-C cable.

The specific Dock you mention is a USB-C dock, and is not usable for DIFFERENT pictures on each display.

Hi pranavjdesai01,

You may have to connect the displays to the Mac directly, rather than through the hub. It isn't clear if it is possible to run two displays off of a single port from Use an external display with your MacBook Pro - Apple Support

Per that same article, you can attempt to make sure the displays aren't set to "mirror".

"Adjust and arrange displays. After you connect an external display or projector, go to Displays in System Settings to set how the displays are arranged, choose which to use as your main display, and adjust resolution. If you want to mirror your screen, click the display that you want to act as a mirror, then choose the mirror option from the “Use as” dropdown."

We hope this helps.

Cheers.
