What to do if FindMy is turned off

if I lost my iphone but the Find My app is turned off, is there a way to find my phone?

Unfortunately, the Find My option must be enabled......before.....the phone is lost. You must have the phone in your hands to enable Find My......it cannot be enabled remotely.


I'm sorry, but other than simply retracing your steps and looking for the phone the old fashioned way......there is nothing more that you can do as far as locating the phone.
