I was taking pictures in a low service area. I get a pop-up stating " iPhone is inactive" it then gave me two options. Cancel or try again along with some message to contact my provider. My phone then proceeds to be on SOS and only using Wi-Fi the rest of the day. How do I fix this?
Based on the information you provided, it sounds like your issue is due to poor network strength to your carrier. If you are with someone that has the same carrier and is not currently experiencing the same issue in the area you are in, then you need to contact your carrier as the pop-up message directed.
