Is this something that's happening right now? I've tried everything and nothing works on my PC. Works fine on iPad. Calendar will not load, authentication won't work.
Nevermind, I tried the clickening again, and now it's not working :,(
None of Gena_D solutions worked for me. The only solution that worked I found several messages below 8/29 from Miagra. Details there show that accessing with a browser that's NOT Edge may work. I just tried Firefox and accessed iCloud.com easily and all my data is visible. Agree that it's some sort of browser issue. For now, changing my default to Firefox.
Fully agree. Rather than having everyone taking all this time working with doing these same steps and no one has stated that it worked for them. Apple needs to get it fixed. On a temporary basis, I am able to use ICloud when I use the Firefox browser pretty consistently. I have been using that as a get around. Don't know if that will work for others but for me Firefox is pretty consistent. I tried using Microsoft edge and the connection is intermittent.
If you have the Intel Killer Intelligence Centre, turn off the Prioritisation Engine. This works. It will sometimes come back on after a reboot but it’s easy to turn off again.
For me, this problem started after the Killer app had its last update.
I turned of IPv6 and was able to get into iCloud on all my Windows 11 browsers including Chrome and Edge. I aslo turned of the Killer Networks app and that worked as well.
Hi Futurist2022
Your post is very helpful! I will try installing Firefox, too. I use a Wn 11 laptop that was fine until the middle of August. No solution with Apple’s help, either. We uninstalled ICloud for Windows, reinstalled, etc. What makes me really mad is I can’t even get to the iCloud.com. website. I get just get a blank white page. I also tried IE test user (used the deceased Microsoft Internet Explorer) but no luck. I didn’t try downloading Firefox.
ero1893,
Do you have Killer Control Center? If so, go to it's settings and turn of the Optimization Engine. If not, go to your network connection's adapter and turn off iP6. Both should work but I prefer turning off the Optimization Engine..
Good luck..

This is too technical for me.
Thanks, though
I have been frustrated by this issue for weeks. Windows 10\Chrome. Based on other helpful insights in this thread I downloaded Firefox and, fingers crossed, so far so good. I don't like having to have a separate browser window open but I'll take it over not having access to iCloud Contacts from the desktop. Terribly inconvenient when you want to grab an email address from Contacts and can't and have to resort to finding it on the iPhone and typing it in.

I downloaded apple iTunes and now I can access mail. I did download Firefox, but am using the Chrome browser. It worked! I can sign in to iCloud and get mail and everything else.
Thank you Futurist2022 for summarizing the 2 ways to correct this problem.
I used the "turn off IPv6" approach and now have restored connectivity to iCloud on my Win 10 laptop.
I also have 2 Win 10 Desktops which were NOT experiencing the iCloud connectivity issue. Checked the ethernet adapters on those machines, and IPv6 had already been disabled.
Worked perfect! Thank you for step by step instructions.
The problem of not being able to logon to iCloud.com is caused by the "Killer Network Service" Read this for details > https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-11/what-is-the-killer-network-service-in-windows-and-is-it-safe/
This is much worse for me, I get the same error on my laptop but also it doesn't work on the iphone as well, I am able to login with apple ID but if I try anything with I cloud it doesn't work with the phone as well
Found the solution for my same occurance of this issue: Application password for the iCloud email account needed to be re-created and re-configured in the account settings in Outlook:
