maps jerking issue, South East

Every time I use maps, the map jerks to the south East, enough to be disorientated, when after I load a new location and click on it for the first time.

Upon clicking on the initial search result map, it jerks, every time in the same direction.

How can I stop this ?

Is this a software problem ?

The "report an issue" function has been altered and does not allow for general critical input.
