I can’t swipe up on my Apple Watch

When I want to see the battery percentage of my Apple Watch I swipe up but now it doesn’t let me swipe up

I can’t swipe up on my Apple Watch to see the battery I can no longer swipe up on my Apple Watch to see the battery. It seems to have changed overnight (possibly while I was wearing it, or when it ran out of battery, or when I plugged it back in to charge). Now when I swipe up I see a menu of apps, which is not at all helpful since what I really want to know is how much charge is left!!! I am able to go to settings and look and it shows 83% right now but that’s pretty tedious and honestly it is one of the things I check most often. Neither a hard nor soft restart fixed it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can’t swipe up or down on Apple Watch I can’t swipe up or down on my Apple Watch therefore I can’t turn off to reset other than leaving it for battery to run out any ideas please ?

Hello jaimely275,

Please force restart your Apple Watch by pressing simultaneously the Digital Crown and the side button until the Apple logo appears (about 20 seconds.)
