iTunes

I have a new Dell desktop computer. I transferred all data via Carbonite to my new desktop computer. I have my iTunes playlists on my iPhone downloaded from my previous computer. My iPhone has the music exactly as I want it. The iTunes App will not allow me to connect with my music. It says that the App is newer than the itunes on my phone. I tried many different App versions with no success. How can I move my playllsts on my phone to an iTunes App?

See Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community.

If you no longer have the original computer see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - Apple Community.

It helps us understand your issue if you share the exact words of any error message you are running into. The newest version of iTunes should be able to communicate with your iPhone, but if you haven't migrated your library correctly then attempting to sync it may wipe the music from the device.

Hey scottms1,

Syncing music from an iPhone to a computer isn't an available option. If the music was purchased, you can redownload them by following the steps here: Download previous iTunes purchases on PC.

If you still have the old computer, you may be able to save a copy and then place it in the iTunes folder of our new computer. Check out this article to see if it helps: Back up and restore your iTunes library on your PC.

Best wishes.
