Icloud and others are greyed out

An aside to what you've found..

Were you able to enter online via browser any changes to your iCloud account?

Some had tried that too; but might not work, depending on nature of attempts.

The Apple ID should be the same as you use to get into these Apple discussions.

Unless you've changed all that. Maybe you need to contact Apple Support direct?

You may have to attempt to update & check your status, by use of Mac or PC.

..With a USB Lightning cable; some of these instructions suggest how to do it.

If you've changed your Apple ID, that would've been unnecessarily problematic.

A name + password would be used in all things Apple; this forum, & all devices.

The then-older ID wouldn't have any access to your download history or apps.

So far it seems like to contact Apple Support direct and create a chat, or other

means to talk or message with official Apple support, might be the thing to do.
