Add an MDM profile an non-removable using Apple Configurator 2

MDM profiles can only be made non-removable when installed through Automated Device Enrollment. It is not possible with Apple Configurator 2.

This is for the security of end users.

That is because you can't make an MDM profile non-removable. The only way it can be non-removable is if it is installed through Automated Device Enrollment.

It’s available under General > Security in the Profile settings configuration. With Authorization makes it removable with a password, Never makes it non-removable. See reference below. Hope this helps and have a great rest of your day!
