Change phone number on a calendar event - "method to updating phone number field"

I was unable to add a comment/reply to howardfromlafayette Author of question from thread "254590827" - Change phone number on a calendar event - Apple Community. Had similar issue and was able to change the phone number field. Here is the previous question thread, followed with how I updated the phone number field for my calendar event via MacBook Air using Calendar app.

Question:

created a calendar event from an email from my Doctor's office. It included a phone number with a little phone icon and the ability to call that number.

They gave us a new phone number to use for the rehab appointments. So I copied that appointment, set it up for twice a week for 14 occurrences and tried to change the phone number to the new number they gave me. I don't see any way to change, delete, nor add that phone field on my Ventura 13.2 M1 iMac.

How do I modify this phone number?

I had a similar issue, I am the creator of the event.

The phone number was autofilled from a previous calendar event | appointment - LA Care number - tried to change the phone number to the actual number. I, too, did not see any way to change, delete, nor add that phone field.

It occurred to me that if the app autofills the fields with the information added to the "notes" field, I then could add the correct number and autopopulate to the "phone number" field. ***That didn't work***

Finally ******

I added the correct phone number to the location/address field and that updated the phone number field.
