Remove pop up from MacBook Pro

anyone know how i can get rid of this pop up. trying to wipe my macbook pro clean for re sell

It's a garbage app you installed called Survey Junkie.

It's also known as Search Pulse. Per more than one site mentioning this thing:


Search Pulse is a known browser hijacker that infects most of Mac users in a way that it changes the users’ search engine with its own. It monitors the users’ IP address, and search queries, stealing private data.


In other words, you inadvertently installed malware.


But, since you're wiping the Mac, you don't need to find it. Just boot into Recovery Mode, wipe the drive and then install a fresh copy of macOS.


Make sure you first sign the Mac out of iCloud, Music, FaceTime, the App Store, and any other services and/or third party apps that require your login.
