I manage all my accounts through Banktivity and would like to download my transactions automatically the way that I can do it with any other account or credit card.

There is no option to do it the way you can with most other cards. The only option currently available is to export transactions that have appeared on monthly statements and then manually import them. See: Download or export your Apple Card statements and transactions - Apple Support
