One thing to note is that any "trade-in" will generally be much less than you could get through selling it yourself.
You could check and see what used retailers are pricing them at such as Mac of All Trades or OWC.
Generally, you will find that selling it yourself what you can get will be somewhere between those two price points.
Also, remember that electronic devices loose value quite rapidly so don't be too shocked at how little you may get compared to what you paid for it.
Use this: Apple Trade In - Apple. To get a ballpark idea of what Apple thinks it's worth.
There are many more factors involved in determining a Mac's value on the used market.
If you want to derive the greatest resale value comply with these instructions: What to do before you sell, give away, trade in, or recycle your Mac - Apple Support.
Include that Mac's original, dated sales receipt. The buyer might need it. A knowledgeable buyer will demand it.
Oh I was just wondering cause I bought it from some one then ran in to this conversation community and thought it’s pretty cool. lol ok I’l be honest I bought it and it had a 1 inch line going downw the right side of the screen so I bought another screen and in the process of getting it replaced next week 😕😤
Hi,
It's great, then what do you want to say?
If you are having the screen replaced with a non-Apple part, I do not believe that Apple will accept it as a trade in. But do check with Apple to be sure.
Yes I have hard that so I made sure it was the exact screen
That line irritates
