The icloud photo destination folder keeps disappearing along with whatever photos were in it. Then out of the blue the folder is back but not the photos that were in it. Anyone else experience this?

We apologize that we didn’t explain our first post better. Many times we find that a user isn’t performing the correct steps, so we check.
Since the folder shouldn’t disappear/reappear (but without the included photos), we recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly. They have the tools needed to investigate further with you: Get Support

To upload your photos to iCloud, be sure you're using the following steps:
1: On your Windows computer, open File Explorer, then click iCloud Photos in the Navigation pane.
If you don’t see iCloud Photos, click Pictures in the Navigation pane, then double-click iCloud Photos.
2: Drag photos and videos to the folder.

You didn't really read or understand my problem. The "photos" destination folder DISAPPEARS! Because it does that my photos have nowhere to go when syncing from my iPhone. And when it disappears it takes the photos with it. I don't understand why this is happening.
