After I updated my ios to 15.7.8 on my phone. It has completely ruined my battery in a few mins from 40% to 8% now which is horrible. Also after updating no videos are being able to be played on instagram, youtube any social media otherwise I used to stream videos for hours and even watch movies on this phone. Please help me out how I can fix this issue. 🙏🏻 Just typing this out battery reached to 4%
Changes in software such as upgrades may introduce new features which may add to power drain and heat generation. Check Settings > Battery feature to see if there are apps or services running that use a lot of power. If there are, decide if you need them running all the time, can turn off a service when an app is in the background, or disable the feature completely.
