I get an error message when trying to login to icloud
It reads, 'an error occurred during authentication, please try again.' I have reinstalled icloud, but still doesn't work or sync.

If you are having trouble signing into iCloud for Windows, check for any third-party software that might cause this by following Resolve issues between iCloud for Windows or iTunes and third-party security software.
If it continues, as you've already reinstalled iCloud for Windows, contact Apple Support for assistance: Get Support.
