Apple Music Not Displaying all songs on Public Profile

Custom Playlist not syncing to Public Profile

Hello,

I spent a lot of time making a playlist of roughly 4500 songs on my computer/phone. My friend asked me to share it with them and when i sent it over it was only roughly 2500 songs, missing about 2000 of them. roughly 4000 out of 4500 of the files were downloaded from Apple Music too, so it shouldn’t be an issue of Private download not syncing to AM. Additionally, if I open the playlist using the Link to it in browser with no account, the songs show up in full. but just not for actual users! This is super frustrating!!

Top image is the playlist showing in Safari, not logged into any account:

Second image is what i can see on my devices and third is what everyone i’ve sent the link to see.

Lastly,

there are 4 songs that were released just this past week that aren’t showing up so i know it’s not an age of song thing!

does anyone have any idea how this can be remedied?

Hey there CarsonAlbo,

If the songs are still visible on your device before and after sharing the playlist, make sure there are no hidden songs and your profile is visible:

You can choose to share the music that you’re listening to with followers on your profile. If you make your listening history and playlists private, your profile picture and user name will still be visible in Search. To remove yourself entirely, delete your Apple Music profile.

If you change your profile or a playlist to private, it might take several minutes before your profile or playlist is hidden from search.

View your profile
1. Open the Apple Music app.
2. Tap Listen Now.
3. In the upper-right corner of Listen Now, tap the photo icon my account button or your photo.
4. At the top of your screen, tap [your name] View Profile.

Share or hide your playlists
1. At the top of your profile, tap Edit.
2. Select the playlists that you want to share on your profile and in Search. And deselect the ones that you want to hide.
3. Tap Done.

Hide music that you're listening to
To hide something that you're listening to, go to your profile, touch and hold an album or playlist, then tap Hide from Profile.

To hide all of the music that you're listening to:
1. At the top of your profile, tap Edit.
2. Scroll to the bottom, then follow the steps for your device:
* On your iPhone or iPad, turn off Listening To.
* On your Android device, tap Additional Privacy Settings, then turn off Listening To.

Take care!
