How do I turn off search by swiping down on the home screen? It really annoys me when I'm using control center. It opens with Control Center

You can't disable search. You just have to be careful to move your finger to the corner to enable Control Center.

To search on your iPhone, swipe down from the center of the screen (vertically and horizontally). The Control Center only opens when you swipe down from the upper right corner.
I do this but sometimes the search bar opens when I drag from the corner
Strange, it should show the Control Center if you start swiping from the upper right corner. Any other location (with exceptions) should bring the search bar.
