I have the Apple TV Plus app loaded on my Amazon Firestick. I have an Apple TV account and I am logged in. But when I try to watch some thing, I get a “how to watch”message telling me I need an account. Even tho I have one and am logged in. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. I rebooted the Firestick too. I have no problem watching Apple TV on my iPad pad. Can anyone help?

On Fire TV, the Apple TV app doesn’t support in-app financial transactions at this time. So any subscribing, buying, or renting will have to be done on a different supported device (e.g. iPhone). The How to Watch message was supposed to convey that. Once the transaction is done, then content will be unlocked on all your devices, including Fire TV.
2. On Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Sony TV devices, you can't purchase content from the Apple TV app. You can buy, rent, or subscribe on another supported device and then watch in the Apple TV app on your Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, or Sony TV device. [footnote-2]
