/dev/rdisk3s5 it is damaged and need to be fixed

ciao ! eseguendo utility disco, il terminale mi dice che /dev/rdisk3s5 è danneggiato e deve essere riparato. successivamente diversi warning e eseguo riparazioni rinviate. consigli? come posso risolvere. ho eseguito utility da Mac acceso.


hi ! running utility disco on my Mac, says the volume /dev/rdisk3s5 it is damaged and need to be fixed. after several warnings utility says postponed repairs...help!!

If First Aid reports errors that cannot be fixed, then run First Aid while booted into Recovery Mode. If the errors cannot be fixed while in Recovery Mode, then you would need to perform a clean install of macOS by first erasing the disk followed by reinstalling macOS & restoring from a backup.


FYI, it really helps to know the exact model of the Mac which you can get by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac".


The fact that the drive identifier is "rdisk3s5" tells me this Mac has multiple drives connected.....possibly a Fusion Drive. In that case, there is also a chance the internal hard drive is failing. You can try running the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected. Unfortunately the diagnostics do not detect most drive failures.
