As KiltedTim wrote there is no such thing. There are no viruses that affect macOS either.
It may have been a Safari Notification. Read Stop unwanted Notifications - Apple Community.
No. It didn't, because there is no such thing. What popped up was a bogus popup from the web site you were on trying to scam you into downloading something or even worse, giving your credit card number to a criminal.
