I can't add my Mashreq cc and even Tabby in Apple Pay / Apple Wallet

Confirm your region is set correctly.

Change your Apple ID country or region

If you’ve confirmed the above, please update your iPhone to the latest iOS, 16.5.1 or higher. Older iPhones may only support 15.7.5, but Apple Pay will function.

Once updated, please do a forced restart of your iPhone.

If you experience any issues along the way, please note the error message and at what stage you experienced the error. Please reply anytime if something is confusing. 

The error you’re seeing is what typically shows when it’s a region/country issue. Is the bank that issued the card in UAE. You may want to reach out to the support team at the bank and verify the account and conditions for adding the card to Apple Wallet.

Just confirming you checked both region settings, iPhone and Apple ID? That has tripped some people up when they only checked one setting.

The next step will be to delete the Wallet app, download it again and try to add card to the Wallet app. Usually I combine this with logging out of Apple ID and logging back into ID. Both require you to add all the cards back in, som might as well combine the steps.

Go to Settings>General>Language & Region. make sure your region is in United Arab Emirates.
