There are Apple moderators here running the forums and checking for violations. You chose your username when you created the account - no one else can do that for you. Your real name is not visible for security reasons. And, there is no "host" for your account or profile - you set that up when you opened the account; the site is owned by Apple and made available to anyone who opens an account to post a technical question or answer. For that, you post signing in with your Apple ID and password. Your email has nothing to do with your Apple Discussions account except that you will get email notifications when someone posts an answer to your question.

Your devices are automatically registered with Apple, so when you ask about the phone, you should post in the iPhone forum. It is linked to YOUR profile because that is what you signed in with.

And, the mods changed your username for you.

Your name is what you chose. Your realname does not need to be visible. And no, you cannot change your username, only the hosts can.

And I see that it has already been changed.
