I cannot seem to find batteries that do not have the bitterant on them. Where do you all find them? And if I can’t find them, will the Apple air store replace them for me at the location?

Well, you haven't been looking hard enough. As far as I know only Duracell products have bitterants. Big brands like Panasonic and Energizer do not. I use Energizer batteries with my AirTags without issue. Bitterants cause problems with many devices, not only AirTags. This is something started by child safety activists and not taught through.
Where can I get batteries for my AirTags with no bitterant ?
