I am finding difficulties in reinstalling my mac os high sierra 0ld version 10.13 which is compatible for my 2010 mac book pro.

I am facing this problem currently. I am recieving this message when I tried to reinstall my mac os after recov ery mode. ''THE RECOVERY SERVER COULD NOT BE CONTACTED'' But have already tried other solutions like setting the date and time and making sure my mac is connected to my internet. please help me. thanks.

That is the first part of a longer, more convoluted message:


"unable to contact the recovery server...


... No response to the request for the version of MacOS you requested using the supplied Apple-ID 'null'.


You erased your Apple-ID. this Mac is now eligible for the original, "shipped in the box" version of MacOS ONLY.


On an Intel-based Mac, if you use Shift-Option-Command-R during startup, you might be offered the macOS that came with your Mac, or the closest version still available.
