I can't remove the notification on my Mac System Settings

I can't seem to remove the red icon from system settings. And in the launcher this "1" is not. And I can't turn these stickers off, because there are no system settings in the notification settings.

To avoid the question / answer and question answer scenario.

Suggest the User start with Points 1 to 4 and then Test

Still having issues, move onto Steps 5 and 6 and Test Again

Still no resolve - move onto Step 7 and follow instructions therein

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

5 - If not - there could be something in the main User Account playing up. To further isolate this - Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac. Then log out of the Main User account and log into the dummy account and test again if the issue persists.

6 - If the issue is present in the dummy account - then, this appears to be a System Wide issue on the computer.

7 - Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer.

It makes a coherent and readable inventory of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer

The application is free or paid from added features.

Q1 - More than one antivirus app - This computer has multiple antivirus apps installed.

Q2 -   Antivirus software: Apple, Kaspersky, and CleanMyMac

A1 - There are no known Windows-like Viruses in the wild that self replicate and affect macOS, because of the underling UNIX  Foundation and Permission Limitation.

The Operating System resides in a Sealed and Read Only Volume that can not be opened by the User nor by Third Party Applications.

The only Entity that can open and modify or alter this Volume is Apple.

That would occur when a update or UpGrade is performed.

The Only thing this Antivirus software is protecting is the Bank Account of the Developers and for zero return to the User aside from the problems this software creates.

AntiVirus Developers purposefully Market their product to create a “ Fear Factor “. In so doing, creating a False Need for their Product.

Security. Built right in

Mac app security enhancements

The The Built in Security  is all that is required to protect the computer.

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions

A - Third Party Security Software

B -  Disk Cleaner

A - Kaspersky Internet Security

B - This will include CleanMyMac , aka “ BrickMyMac

Read some of the posting and arrive at your own conclusions.

Specific to CleanMyMac aka “ BrickMyMac “

To put the CleanMyMac is context and the damages it may have or has already done.

This application can or will Muck Up your User Account ( Home Folder ) of this machine.

It does not touch the Operating System itself unless you consider your User Account ( Home Folder ) as part of the Operating System

Then in that specific context - it has Mucked Up the Operating  System

There are Other Contributors ( like myself ) would suggest  from this link Use Disk Utility to erase a Mac with Apple silicon.

Thereafter to start from scratch and install all Required Application directly from the Apple Apps Store or Directly from the Developer.

If going this route - I suggest Not using Startup Assist to migrate things back as this will probably Re-Introduce the existing  issue that existed when the TM Backup was made

If I may make a further suggestion

Perhaps you the user needs more of a personal and in person touch on this issue ?

Just be sure to mention you have AntiVirus Software and CleanMyMac Applications Installed on this computer

I am confident they will know what and how to Fix this Issue

Then have a few suggestions ;

1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues .

2 - Have the computer evaluated by the Professionals who have the Special Hardware Software and Expertise to diagnose the issue and offer possible solutions

3 - Make an Appointment at the Apple Genius Bar or call 1 800 MyApple and have them evaluate the computer

I deleted it all, but they are still in the report, how can I clear it? I can't delete the system. She's set up and not long ago

I am not sure if you mean the Applications have been removed via the Developers Instruction

Or If the the recently install Antivirus Software and Disk Cleaner you want to remove but do not know how to removed them

The Antivirus Software was installed the first time you can the Etrecheck Report but the CleanMyMac Application was installed after that report was suppled and Both Application are Showing as Installed on this computer
