Can I share my Air Tag item with my spouse so she can use Find My app to locate them?

If we have an air tag in a common item like a piece of luggage, can we both track it?

sharing an AirTag When my wife and i travel we use AirTags in case we get separated from our belongs. If the phone that has the AirTags in Find Me gets lost or stolen then we wouldn't be able to find any lost or stolen belongs. Is it possible to have AirTags appear on 2 different phones in Find Me? Share Airtag location with another Apple ID Just a question... Is it possible to "share" an AirTag with another Apple ID? I bought a NEW AirTag and added it my iPad using "Find My". Now, in addition to MY Apple ID tracking this AirTag, I would like to allow my WIFE's Apple ID (on her iPhone) to be able to track this SAME AirTag. My wife and I are going on a trip and we will place an AirTag in our luggage. If our luggage is misplaced then I think it is best if there are TWO sets of eyes looking for the AirTag to report it's location. Also, my iPad is Verizon and my wife's iPhone is AT&T. Between the two of us we should have 100% cellular coverage.

No.

AirTag is presently tied to a single Apple ID, with no sharing and no Family Sharing.
