How do I enter my passcode to unlock my Apple Watch screen if it is in water mode?

Before swimming, I placed my watch into water lock mode. My watch went into reserve power mode while swimming (first time ever). Watch finally came out of reserve power mode after about 12 hours of charging. Now my watch is asking for a passcode that can not be entered due to it still being in water lock mode. Pressing and holding the Digital Crown only brings up the passcode screen. I can’t enter the passcode with the screen being locked.

If you get the boop boop boop sound it should unlock

If not Try Forced restart

i.e. press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

If you've completed that troubleshooting and the issue is still not resolved go to https://icloud.com/find and erase the watch, remove it from your account, and then pair it again in the normal way

I have done all the options you mentioned above. The screen still doesn’t work. I’m going to take it to the Apple Store and let them figure it out. The watch is not a year old and is still under warranty.

Just on the off chance you have OS8 installed, try rotating the crown instead

Thank you for your help. I tried rotating the crown as well. It moves the screen options but I still can’t select anything. Apple is going to send it off for service tomorrow. Thanks again for your assistance.
