Despite what the internet says, DO NOT put your phone in rice. Putting your iPhone in rice will cause more damage than harm. Allow your iPhone to dry out completely before powering it on. Your iPhone 11 Pro is water resistant, not water proof keep that in mind. If you have apple care, apple care does not cover water damage so all repairs are going to have to come out of pocket. If you think your iPhone has an issue with Face ID, after you submerged your iPhone in water, pull out the sim tray to allow water to evaporate. Do not attempt to use the iPhone, allow up too 48 hours to allow the phone to dry on its own. Yes, it may be hard to go without using your phone for 48 hours, but doing this could save you a couple thousand bucks.
