I have backup working but it is giving me ‘no more space available’. I used to have the low-cost one but my daughter upgraded me onto her family one with much more memory for me. Suddenly it stops working.
Could it be that I have not cancelled my personal low-cost one and every month it is extended it switches me backup onto it again?

You should NOT have to cancel your personal if you were added to a family plan. Go to Settings/General/iCloud and see what it says about available storage.

This problem was resolved some 12 hours later when, after a few attempts, restarts, switching on and off options, and refreshes, the options to select which iCloud backup is selected from those available became visible. Thanks to Mr Lawrence Finch for his prompt reply.
