That big banner at the top when in "Music" view. How do I make it go away? On MacBook Pro w/Ventura.
The banner, or whatever it's called, takes up about a third of the screen. I don't need it or want it. How do I make it go away? Thanks,

William,
It has been that way for the last several years of releases. There have been many complaints about it on the Forum, but there is no way to remove or shrink it. The best you can do is make the window as tall as possible, so that as a percentage it is not taking as much.

Timothy,
As you know, Apple does not offer an explanation for its design decisions. But if you want to provide official feedback, here is the link: Product Feedback - Apple

Thanks for the link. I never use Playlists so had not encountered it.
Sheesh, Apple. Why, why, why?
I still haven't gotten over them taking away the cover view iTunes had in the left sidebar bottom corner.
I was really p!issed off when they removed the Search filter (the one on the right, not the sidebar one) a couple versions back. It has returned; perhaps Apple will change this, too?
