I’ve deleted all the folders and files on my MacBook now a file with a question mark pops up an now I can no longer reset my MacBook because it doesn’t have a storage folder for me to click on to install my macOS so how do I fix this

i just revived this lab top from my brother I’m not sure where he got it but it was under his Apple ID so I looked up way to try to rest it so the MacBook can be under my id but I’ve deleted all the folders so now I don’t have anything to install the macOS on so how do I fix this
