I'm very frustrated at the moment. I need to free storage on my phone and I have tried both Dropbox and google photos but they don't have any support for iphone albums. What do I do? This is years of work. I have so many albums that i can't loose and there is no way i can sit and manually create this albums.

Is there a reason you haven't tried Apple's iCloud? It does cost a bit-- 50GB is $1/month and 200GB is $3/month, but the service allows you to keep small copies of your pictures on your phone while the full sized versions are at iCloud, albums and folders intact. You can view, edit, and print the pictures from your phone, and full sized versions will be imported as needed. It's all quite seamless and secure. And you can share chose pictures with others.

iCloud isn't exactly a backup-- it syncs your devices. But it will allow you to free up storage on your phone without losing their availability.
No It's not an option at all. It doesn't feel optimal for my workflow. I don't have good internet where I live and I want to choose what is available offline on my phone and what is stored for later use. I have around 300 gb of photos and videos on my phone that i want to keep there in high res. And 200 gb that i want to save.
Do you have a computer - either a portable or desktop?

You might have to backup all of the photos instead of specific albums. I have no experience with it so do your due diligence.
