I need to have a message sent to anyone who texts my iPhone, which is used for work, to direct them to a different, associated phone number used exclusively for text messages. I don't see where I can input actual words...is there a way to do this?

The only way to set an autoresponse on an iPhone is to use the Driving focus and turn it on manually.
Go to Settings>Focus>Driving>Auto-Reply. At the bottom of the screen is a box where you can edit your response.
