My IPhone is now "Unavailable" because I forgot my passcode and tried too many times to get into it. I do not want to erase my phone by resetting it. Is there a way to get into it through my apple ID?

Backups must occur before catastrophes.
You don’t have a choice. If the device is ‘unavailable’ your data is already gone.
