Recording a zoom meeting (not screen) on QuickTime (movie, not screen recording) that needs to include my mic + computer music that is shared on Zoom?

Hey!

So I'm trying to record my Zoom meetings on QuickTime Player because the video quality on Zoom is so horribly poor. I'm using a microphone and sharing music on the computer at the same time and both need to be heard on the recording.

I have Blackhole 16ch installed and followed instructions on how to set up the input. Tried two things: first just the mic & blackhole, then also included the zoom audio device. But none of those made the music audible on the QuickTime Recording - even though with the latter (mic, zoom & blackhole) I could see both the music and my mic on the volume/audio monitor next to the QuickTime record button. Still, only my mic is recorded.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
