Volume on 14Pro IPhone

Volume on my IPhone is too low to hear at times even with volume at the highest level. Sometimes it is too loud and must be turned down. Is there a fix?

Most of the answer or self fix, the top gurus on here are going to tell you to re check all sound and notifications. Or delete the app reinstall app. Or restore your phone. If all that does not work talk to apple support ( cause we all know this is all they can say on here ) We all the the broken record response.

But do go in to “accessibility” settings then to “Face ID and attention” turn off the attention aware feature. This cause all volumes to lower when looking at your phone and sound and hepatic setting like he said. Above turn off. The change with buttons and set the volume slider above it.

just remember tho. Just how iOS is no matter were the volume slider is. All notifications sounds will be 50% less volume then the ringer. It’s a apple issue they will not fix. Like not adding individual volume sliders for them.

Hi Highmountain56,

If you are getting unexpected volume on your iPhone, could you be adjusting the volume using the side buttons? If you have Settings > Sound & Haptics > Change with Buttons turned off, your ringer and alerts volume is locked, so when you use the side buttons, it only adjusts the audio for other apps. You could be adjusting the volume for everything else expecting to work only on your ringer.

If you have this turned on, it adjusts the volume for the ringer and notifications when on the Home Screen, receiving phone calls, or in the Phone app. For most other situations, it adjusts the volume for the app you are in.

Check out Adjust the volume on iPhone to learn more.

Take care.
