I keep getting messages on my iPhone that my Applecard credit line will be decreased. I have been ignoring these notifications, assuming they are phishing. Are they legit?

That’s a scam.
You can always contact an Apple Card Specialist using the Apple Card in you iPhone Wallet. Any notifications will also appear there.

What email address are they sent from?
I contacted Apple. It was NOT a scam.
They are text messages. When I later go back to check for a sender they no longer appear.
How did you contact Apple, just curious? When I chat with Apple it looks like image below. Nothing ever disappears, as you stated. I’m confused.
