How to turn off message notice on non apple battery
I had a new battery installed at Batteries Plus. I cannot clear the message on my home screen. Looked under Settings and Battery - nothing.

You can't. You need to replace the battery with a genuine one.

IT is not possible to turn off that message, as explained in the Related Article at the top of this page, that you were reading when you posted here. You have a non-Apple battery, and anyone you might sell that phone to in the future deserves to know that.
I’m a little surprised that an otherwise reputable company like Batteries Plus does not install original equipment batteries. You should take it back to them and insist on a genuine battery, which Apple is now happy to sell to anyone qualified to replace batteries.
