I use CAD software a lot and there are times when a large file is saving that the computer takes a while to process so I get the “spinning wheel of death”. I have ADHD so this distracts me and makes me go to another tasks, without any way of being notified when the spinning wheel has stopped. Do you know of a way to play a sound to notify me when the wheel stops spinning so I know when to come back and continue my work?

This isn't exactly what you asked for but as a tip, whenever you are doing CAD work, I recommend that you close all other apps except for maybe email. This will allow all the needed resources on your system to be used for the CAD program and might even alleviate the spinning beachball problem. Might be worth a try.
Thanks @Randall_2023. Unfortunatley the way I work in Sketchup produces larger files that I've learned to deal with. And I don't have any other apps running when doing CAD work. The time to save has cut in half with the new M2 Chip but it's still a drag. Hoping to find some accessibility setting of some sort that can notify me and keep me on task.
