Printing documents from Macbook Air

I can't print documents from Macbook air via HP printer (HP Tank series 310). It can be connected only via USB(not wifi). As only as a document appears in the printing queue - nothing happens and the file dissapears from the queue, and the light on the printer starts blinking. In the settings it's shown that the printer itself is connected and active. If I pring from Windows laptop - everything is perfect that is why the problem is not in the printer. What can I do?

OK...I gather from what you've said you want this printer connected via USB, not WiFi?

I would first try uninstalling the HP printer driver (using their uninstall utility), then go to This HP Web Page and redownload/reinstall the driver.
