Why can't I send photos to android? This has been problem for a LONG time. What's so hard about fixing it?

iPhone users can send photos to Android users in Messages, there is nothing Apple needs to fix. Did you verify that the MMS setting is on at Settings > Messages? MMS allows users to send photos over the cellular's SMS messaging protocol and works using the iPhone's Messages also.

Are you referring to an iPhone to send photos and videos to and Android user? You need to make sure both SMS and MMS are turned on.
iPhone->Settings->Messages->scroll down to SMS/MMS and make sure those are enabled.
I can easily with What'sApp and email. What are you trying and where does it fail?
So what you're saying you can't send photos/videos with the native messaging app either? It's BS they can't/won't fix it. Why can android users send photos/videos to iphones with the native messaging app without fail? I don't want to use a third party app. Just fix the problem, apple! All I keep hearing is to use this app or that app, or change this setting or that setting. NO, FIX IT!
..Haven't had issues sending images/photos to anyone with good bandwidth internet..
When there was a problem, their end needs me to be set with "Cellular Data" turned On.
Usually that matter seems to be caused by the cellular carrier, & appears to discriminate.
On the fringe of my carrier's support range, there are an additional charges for excess
Data usage; as their pay-as-you-go plan has spotty coverage, in areas across my state.
Any of these anomalies could occur; whether or not one is aware of their reindeer games.
..Or not. The ball is either returned or lost at their end of the court. GCI is a neutral profit taker..

I don't believe I said that, I just mentioned two ways I can do it. There are others. Mail Is not a third party app. And, of course, no point in issuing instructions to Applehere, as this forum is users helping other users.
