I have an old iMac desktop from 2009 that I'd like to donate a children's home but the keyboard and mouse do not seem to be functional...any thoughts on how I can get compatible replacements that will allow this old iMac provide some kids with something to practice and play on for awhile? Thanks! ....Jerry

You're welcome. Of course it would be ideal to find a keyboard with Mac-specific labels such as ⌘ ⌥ etc but some keyboards have legends for both Macs and Windows PCs.
Good point...found a combo of the two on Amazon and it was indicated that they're compatible with iMac, so hoping it's the real thing. Thanks again. ....Jerry
