I am not sure how far I have to be from my iPhone until my watch send me left behind notification. I found the online that if the watch not connected to the WI-FI it won’t get that notification which is disappointing. I need to know if it is possible for the watch to still get the “left behind” notification even if not internet or iPhone near by the watch and how far it take to get notify as well?

1. After you set up Notify When Left Behind, you get a notification on your iPhone when you leave a device or item at an unknown location.*
2. Tap the notification to see where you left the item.
3. Tap Continue to open the Find My app.
4. From the Find My app you can:
* Tap Directions to your device or item left behind.
• Tap Don't Notify Me Here if you don't want to be notified when you leave something at that location.
• For AirPods left inside their case, you can only see Notify When Left Behind notifications for up to 24 hours.

I know how to setup all that and I already did but I realized that if the Apple Watch with GPS options only which mean I do not have cellular included in it, it doesn’t not work as expected. If you leave the iPhone behind, it doesn’t notify me right away which I think the reason that Find My app doesn’t works if you have no Wi-Fi or cellular connection in the Apple Watch. I that is not good because I thought it will notify soon as the watch not in the Bluetooth range.
