my apple pay stopped working at in store terminals

when i put my phone to the terminal to pay in store with apple pay nothing happens, this started happening only a few weeks ago

Apple Pay works sometimes and doesn't sometimes. I am using an iPhone X on the latest iOS version, and my Apple Pay used to work just fine, but then it stopped working suddenly. It doesn't show any error messages, either.

Apple Pay not working with tap and pay My Apple Pay has stopped working since 3 rd week of December, I have tried the following but it still won’t work Uninstalled bank card and reinstalled, re authorised card, contacted bank , no issues they could see, still didn’t work. Removed bank card , moved over to credit card , same problem. Tried rescan of face , didn’t help. Countless hard resets, no help either. The double click with online purchases works fine , before mid December all was good, I have no issues with it where ever I have travelled through the uk or Europe over last 18 months , now it will not work. I think the phone is damaged , any one got any suggestions?

Please update your iPhone to the latest iOS, 16.6 or higher. Older iPhones may only support 15.7.5, but Apple Pay will function.
