Get rid of Banner/header over music playlists.

I see people have been complaining for years about the purposeless, space-wasting banner that appears above music playlists. I have given feedback to Apple several times, as I imagine many people must have. Does anyone know whether Apple has responded yet and has either provided a solution or is planning to? Is there an alternate method for creating/editing/rearranging playlists?
