Why are there slight blips in the audio track when I use blade to make edits?

How can I remove the slight blip in the audio track when I used blade to edit? I have tried redoing the angle change edit but the blip is still there in the audio. It's slight but I can hear it. Has anyone had this and how do I correct it? Thanks.

Scissors Tool issue (not cutting on Bar) Greetings everyone! In my new batch of projects I can't cut simple audio at Bar - even though my 'snap to grid' and track' settings should make me do so. In my other projects, it's really simple to cut on the Bar - to do a clean, simple cut. Now the cut extend past the Bar at different length, creating an 'underlayer' of sound (paler shade). Audio Volume Keyframe Doesn't Appear at the Playhead I'm having a problem adding keyframes to my Final Cut Pro project. When I try to add a keyframe for audio volume, it appears to the right of the playhead. It used to appear right at the playhead like all other keyframes do. Any idea what's causing this or how to fix it? Audio Inspector (Final Cut Pro) has no Effects section When I use Final Cut Pro 12.0, the audio inspector has no Effects section. I'm trying to apply the Channel EQ audio effect. When I drag the effect to a clip I can see that it has applied, because the FX badge appears in the upper right corner of the Audio Configuration panel (see image). But I have no way of setting the parameters in the Audio Inspector. By contrast, video effects show up fine in the Video Inspector. Any idea what is wrong? Here's the Audio Inspector when I have applied the audio effect.

You can add a short audio crossfade. If I remember correctly, Option-T with the edit point selected will do it. You can Expand Audio to confirm visually that the crossfade has been applied.
