iPhone 12 Mini Autofocus issue on native camera app

Hi - since the update of iOS 16 I started noticing that my native camera app started to deteriorate drastically.

This issue does not occur when using 3rd party apps, like Halide or Instagram.

What I've tried so far:

  • Reinstalling the update iOS 16.6
  • Updating to iOS 17 Beta
  • Recovering the iOS to factory settings
  • Removing the MagSafe case.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? This looks to me like an software issue as the 3rd party app allows to use autofocus manually, which does work normally there.

Here is a short: Demonstration of the Autofocus issue on Video
