Do HomePod Thread Border Router block internet access for IOT devices?

Hey there!

Im running some Thread devices from Eve and Nanoleaf with HomePods as Border Routers.

From my understanding, a Border Router is totally capable of routing internet access to and from the Thread devices (https://www.threadgroup.org/Portals/0/documents/support/ThreadBorderRouterBestPractices_2530_1.pdf).

Are attempts by Thread (Matter) Devices to access the internet blocked by the HomePod Border Routers currently? I can not find documentation on it.
